Our consultancy is built on more than a decade of real operations: running UAS departments, training commercial pilots and flying 1,500+ hours across offshore assets, confined spaces, live railways and tight urban sites. That means advice that works on the ground, not just on paper. It is independent and vendor-neutral: if a drone is not the right answer, we will say so.

How it worksSimple, and scoped to you
Most clients start with a short, no-obligation call. We then agree a clear scope and fixed deliverables, whether that is a feasibility report, a tender specification or a complete Operational Authorisation application, and support you through to approval and beyond.

Frequently asked questions
Do we need a SORA or Operational Authorisation?
In the UK, operations that fall outside the Open category typically need an Operational Authorisation in the Specific category, which uses the SORA risk assessment methodology. We will review your planned operations and tell you exactly what is needed.
How long does an Operational Authorisation application take?
It depends on the complexity of the operation and the CAA’s current timescales. We will give you a realistic timeline when we scope the work.
Should we build an in-house drone team or use a contractor?
It depends on how often you fly, the risk and the data you need. We compare in-house, contractor and hybrid models honestly, including when using a contractor is the better option.
Is your consultancy independent?
Yes. Our advice is vendor-neutral and not a sales route for our survey work. If another option suits you better, we will tell you.
Thinking about using drones?
